PU awards five PhD degrees LAHORE: (Friday, October 21, 2022): Punjab University has awarded five PhD degrees to the scholars in which Humera Akhtar D/o Muhammad Akhtar in the subject of Political Science after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Pakistan-U.S. Relations in the Perspective of Afghanistan (2008-2018)’, Taufeeq Ahmed Ansari S/o Farooq Ahmed Ansari in the subject of Persian after approval of his thesis entitled ‘Introduction, Explanation and Analysis of Mystical Terms in the Persian Letters of Shaikh Ahmed Sirhindi with Preface About Author’, Hana Mahboob D/o Mahboob Ahmad Saeed in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Jurisprudential Preferences Discussed by Dr Wahabah Al-Zuhayli in Al-Fiqh Al-Islami Wa Adilatuhu and Opinions of his Contemporary Scholars (Analytical and Comparative Study’, Abeera Shaeer D/o Farhat Hussain Khurshid in the subject of Biological Sciences (Specialization in Biochemistry) after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Comparative Studies on Recombinant Catalases of Thermophilic (Geobacillus Thermopakistaniensis) and Mesophilic (Bacillus Subtilis R5) Origins.’ and Hafiz Khalid Mahmood S/o Hafiz Wali Muhammad in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his thesis entitled ‘The Analytical Study of Contemporary Fatawa Regarding the Modern Applications of the Injunctions of Hajj’.
