LAHORE: (Saturday, August 02, 2025): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali inaugurated newly redesigned website. In this regard the inaugural ceremony was held at VC’s office committee room. On this occasion, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, Registrar Dr Ahmad Islam, DG IT Prof Dr Muhammad Murtaza Yousaf, DG SES Dr Rehan Sadiq Shaikh, Director IT Imran Qureshi, Deputy Director Mujtaba Ali and web section team were present. In his address, Dr Muhammad Ali said that PU is playing a role of leader in higher education and committed to innovation and excellence. The revamped site aims to provide a more user-friendly and accessible online experience for prospective students, current students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community, he added. He lauded the efforts of the IT team. DG IT Dr Murtaza Yousaf said that a new modern designed website has been developed keeping in view the layout of international and national websites. He said that new design is with improved navigation, fully responsive for seamless use across all devices. Updated and expanded resources about academic departments, academic programs, admissions, research, examinations, campus life and many more, he added. He also said that the new website reflects our commitment to innovation.
